Desalter Kit Seawater Mk2

This is part of a U.S. pilot's survival kit which would have been issued with the SV1 and SV2 survival vests. The desalter kit was issued to allow a downed pilot to produce drinking water from seawater. This example is complete and was manufactured by "VAN BRODE MILLING Co, Inc" and dated 1968.
