Luftwaffe Field Division M43 Cap

A slighty battered example of what i believe to be a field made Luftwaffe field division M43 cap. The cap's insignia is in a form of a breast eagle with green backing indicating that it was a paratroopers smock eagle. The cap's lining is made of cotton which is also used for the underneath of the peak. The outer edge of the peak has frayed revealing the cardboard stiffer. The cap has also been sun-bleached,however when the ear flaps are pulled down the freshness of the fieldgrey material is revealed.
