U.S. M1943 Machinaw Coat

This Mackinaw coat, which is also known as the Jeep coat, was first adopted by the U.S. army during World War 1. This example is the last pattern without a blanket lined collar and was introduced on 19th April 1943. However some later examples of the third pattern did not have belt loops, The contract label is missing and their is a hole in the lower right side of the skirt, but only goes through the first layer of material and is not visible externally. The coat is approximately a size 42 regular.
