British 1937 Pattern Officers Battledress Blouse

This is a 1937 pattern officers battledress blouse, which has had the collar tailored for officer's use. This example is in good condition and retaining the rank insignia of a crown for a Major and has the branch of service backing colour scarlet for infantry. The BD, retains the tailors contract label with the maker's name "CWS.LTD" and size stamped 9.
