New Zealand 37 Pattern Battledress Trousers

These 37 pattern trousers are of New Zealand manufacture and are dated 1942. The trousers have had the first aid and map pockets removed, probably for officer use as it was a common practice for British and commonwealth officers to tailor their uniforms, including shaving the uniform to give it a more smarter appearance which seems to be the case with this example. The trousers are approximately a 32" waist with 29" inside leg.
