U.S. 1st Pattern ETO Field Jacket

The 1st and 2nd pattern ETO field jackets where made in the United Kingdom for the U.S. Army. ETO ( European Theatre of Operations ) field jackets where made from British battledress material. This example has been tailored by removing the cuff and waist tabs. It still retains it's contract label, which gives the size 40L, the manufactures name "Swallow Raincoats`". Ltd" and the year of manufacture 1943. It also retains the name of the original owner, "JOSE M. GARZA".
