This example have been tailored to be worn by a officer as part of his walking out dress. The first aid and map pockets have been removed and the trousers have been turned up, which was the fashion of the day. The trousers retains their contract label which gives the manufacturers name as "Prices Tailors Ltd", the size stamp 4 and the date 1947. They are also "WD" stamped and have the year acceptance letter code "E" for 1947.
