The Duke of Wellington's Regiment

This is the cap badge worn by the Duke of Wellington's regiment also called the West Riding. The regiment was first formed on 01/07/1702 and disbanded on 06/06/2006. The badge was worn from 1898 to 2006 except from the period between1958 to 1969 when the Yorkshire Brigade badge was worn.
