German First Aid Vehicle Box

This is an early first aid vehicle box which was in all German fighting vehicles. This example retains traces of its original early paint finish. However the red cross symbol and the word "Verbandkasten" have been re-stencilled after 1945. The led does retain the original contents label which is dated 1936.
