U.S. 2-Quart Collapsible Water Bottle

This is a 2-quart collapsible water bottle with its nylon cover. The collapsible water bottle where first evaluated by the 4th Infantry Division in 1967 and was standardised in October 1968, becoming ready available to all units in 1969. This example is dated 1968 maker marked " Hedwin" and is in excellent condition with a mint nylon pouch which has a 1973 dated strap with a pattern date of August 1952.
