U.S. Army Class A Service Tunic
This class A service tunic retaining most of its original insignia except for the metal collar discs. The right sleeve patch is of the Army Service force and the left patch is of the Panama Canal Department which was formed to guard the Panama canal from 1917 to 1947. The rank badges is of a Staff Sergeant, who has six overseas bars, each bar indicates 6 months service totally 3 years. He has also been awarded the 3 year service stripe. The left lower sleeve also has the Meritorious service unit badge which was introduce in August 1944 for efficiency of army service units. The tunic also retains its contract label, which gives the maker name "Jules Seagal" pattern date 7th February 1940 with a production date 3rd October 1941 and the size 38 large. The eagle badge above the right breast pocket indicates that the Staff Sergeant has been honourably discharged from military service.
