U.S. M1942 Jungle Suit

The M1942 jungle suit was first introduced in 1942 and was issued to army and marine corps units. However it turned out to be ill suited for combat wear. It was mostly issued to rear echelon units. The suit was issued with internal straps, however these tended to be removed for more comfort. This example is in very good condition and is marked with the original owners personal service number. All the press-studs and zipper are in working condition. The internal straps have been removed. The contract label is still attached, however the details which gives the makers name, date and size have been completely washed out.
