British 46 Pattern Trousers

46 pattern trousers, which are externally identical to 40 pattern. The only difference, 46 pattern has an extra set of brace buttons and the contract label has been moved to the inside of the waist band. This example retains its contract label which gives the makers name Hartley Sons & Co. LTD, size 7 and dated 1948. The trousers also has the year code acceptance WD stamp "R" for 1948. Unfortunately his example has suffered with some moth damage to the right knee and some moth nips to area the map pocket. Still makes a good cheaper display alternative to the more expensive 40 pattern.
