British 40 Pattern BD Trousers

A good example of 40 pattern trousers which have the WD year acceptance code "L" for 1946. The trousers i suspect where manufactured in 1945. The contract label is missing, however the size stamp is clearly visible and is marked size 16. However the trousers have been taken in to reduce the size. With the alteration the trousers measure 36" waist with a 27" inside leg. They also have the wartime darker plastic buttons.
