U.S. K-2B Light Weight Flight Suit

This is a size small light weight K-2B flight suit worn by both by army and airforce helicopter crews. This example was produced in 1967 by Satellite Outwear Corporation and has an issued date of 26th September 1968. The rear of the suit has had a rip, which has been period repaired. It retains all of its original insignia including the name tag of the original owner "FISH". The unit badges are of the 1st Infantry Division and the Army Aviation Centre & Training school. Above the U.S. Army tag are the qualification wings of a senior army pilot. The collar also has the branch of service badge for infantry.
