British MKV Gas Mask & Contents

This is MKV gas mask which has the extra long hose for drivers and armoured crews. The gas mask comes with its haversack and contents. The gas mask is dated November 1942, the No248 anti-lens dimmer is dated June1940, the anti-dust goggles dated 1941. The No5 anti-gas ointment tin which is empty is dated October 1942. The haversack is also dated 1942 and is maker marked "Whiteley. The MKV gas mask was introduced in 1939. The molded rounded area on the left check was to allow a microphone to be attached.
