British MKV Gas Mask & Contents

A short hose MKV gas mask which is dated 1941. The gas mask comes with its haversack and contents. The haversack is also dated 1941 and maker marked "Whiteley". The No342 anti-lens dimmer is dated March 1942 and the anti-dust goggles are dated 1941. The gas mask also comes with a empty tin of No2 anti-gas ointment which the lid has suffered with corrosion. The MKV gas mask was introduced in 1939, the rounded molded area on the left check was to allow for a mircophone to be attached.
