German Tropical Gaiters

I believe these are in fact post-war French gaiters which are very similar to German tropical issue gaiters including the leather trim which was a feature on mid-war German gaiters. The only real difference is on the buckles. German made gaiters tend to have a roller-bar on the buckle, French gaiters do not. The French army marking is visible. Ideal for ww2 display and living history purposes.
