U.S. 7.62mm M1919A4 ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. The M1919A4 was introduced in 1936 and only remained in production to 1945. However it had a long service life remaining in use with the U.S. and Nato countries as late as the 1990's. The M1919A4 is more commonly referred too as the 30cal due to its 30.06 calibre. However the vast majority which remained in U.S. and Nato service after Korea where converted to 7.62mm which is the case with this example, which was produced by Saginaw Steering gear, Division of General Motors Corporation. It has no foreign markings and only appears to have been used by the U.S. military. The possible service history of this example could have been WW2, Korea in its original 30.06 calibre and Vietnam in 7.62mm. It comes with a carrying handle, pintle, T&E gear and M2 tripod.
