The SKS carbine ( Samozariadnyia Karabina Simonva ) was developed by the Soviet Union in 1945 and was the first Soviet/Russian weapon to have an intermediate round copied from the German ( 7.92 kurts ) for the MP44. This example is a Chinese version which differs from the Russian versions by having a cruciform bayonet. It is deactivated to the current EU specification and has a moving cocking handle under spring pressue. U.K. Sales Only.
