U.S. WAAC M43 Field Jacket

A Women's Auxiliary Army Corps M1943 field jacket, which differs from a male issue version by closing on the right side, exposed buttons and no breast pockets, however decorative pocket flaps where retained. This example is in very good condition, retaining its instruction and contract labels. The contract label gives the date of manufacture January 1945, size 14 regular and the manufacturer's name 'Henry Weiss".
