U.S. M1928 Thompson SMG ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is a rarer early produced M1928 Thompson submachine gun which would have been manufactured between 1928 to 1938. The majority of deactivated M1928 Thompson Submachine in the UK market is the model 1928A1's which would have been produced between 1938 to 1942. The main difference between the two models is the position of the patent dates and manufacture details. The M1928 designation was given when the United States Navy, and Marine Corps officially adopted the weapon in 1928. The U.S. Army officially adopted the weapon in 1938 and gave it the M1928A1 designation. This example is in excellent condition, matching numbered and comes with an original 50 round drum magazine and front pistol grip. It is a pre-1995 deactivation with full moving parts.
