U.S. Army Hospital Medical Department Bathrobe

This is the darkblue corduroy army medical deparrtment ( MD ) issue bathrobe issued to servicemen recovering from injuries and ongoing hospital treatment. This example appears to be unissued retaining its contract label, which gives the makers name"COSGROVE BROS INC', the size Large and the pattern date 3rd April 1944 and manufactured date 28th September 1944. The Medical department issue bathrobe came in two other colours blue and white strips and maroon. See listing 66925 and 66926.
