U.S. Special Flannel Shirt

This is an enlisted man's anti-gas flannel shirt which was introduced in 1942 and was given the designation 'Special". It would have two buttons under the collar, a front flap and two sleeve gussets. This example is in very good condition apart from the two hood buttons under the collar. The shirt is approximately a size 14 x 32.
