U.S. M1942 HBT Shirt

This is a M1942 herringbone twill shirt, which originally had the anti-gas front flap and would have had the special designation. However the gas flap has been removed and the sleeves shortened. The anti-gas hood buttons under the collar are still attached. The contract label still remains however all the details have been washed out. The size label also remains size Small approximately a size 34.
