U.S. M1943 Field Trousers

The M1943 field uniform was first evaluated by units of the 3rd Infantry Division on the Anzio beach head in the summer of 1943. It was then issued in quantity to airborne units in late 1944. Finally being issued to the rest of the U.S. army in January 1945. This example is missing a couple of buttons, otherwise it is in very good condition, retaining its contract and instruction label. The details on the contract label have been washed out, however the instructions are clearly visible. It is approximately a waist 28 inches and an inside leg of 29 inches.
