U.S. Army M1940 Service Tunic

This is a M1940 service tunic introduced in 1940 and differed from the M1926 pattern service tunic by eliminating the pleats on the back of the tunic. This example is in very good condition and has the original owners personal service number. The contract label is still attached which gives the following information, pattern date 7th June 1940, manufacturing date 4th May 1942 , Size 35R ( Regular ) and the Manufacturer's name Phoenix Clothing inc. The lining is marked with the original owners personal service number.
