U.S. M1939 Great Coat

This is a near mint example of M1939 great coat with brass buttons, in 1942 the great coat was modified to have green plastic buttons instead of the brass buttons as war saving measure as brass was critical material for the war effect. This example retains its contract label which gives the specification date 11th March 1940 and the actual manufacturing date 28th August 1941. It is also size marked 34L ( Long ).
