German M1930 Gas Mask & Canister

This is a good example of a M1930 gas mask made of a rubberised cloth and comes with a FE41 filter. The gas mask is dated 1941 and has the three letter makers code 'btc" for Honsel-Werke AG. The mask is still quite soft and supple and retains all of its straps. The FE41 filter is dated 1944 and has its screw cap. The canister is also in very good condition retaining nearly all of its original green finish and is marked with the letter 'D" which stands for " Wasserdicht" ( Water Tight ). Water tight canisters where introduced in November 1942. The canister also has spare gas mask lenses still in their original packet and its webbing straps. The canister also retains is spring clip with cleaning cloth in its base.
