Soldiers Personal Items

This is a soldiers personal service history, consisting of his portrait photographs one of which is framed with his units shoulder title "Intelligence Corps ". His service book contains a number of loose photographs,varios membership social cards and a relatives national registration card, which is dated 1943 and 1945. There is also a photo album showing his service in Germany and Palestine. There are also two Military Intelligence magazines. The pay/service book and shoulder title are WW2 vintage and continued to be issued immediately in the post-war years. The soldiers name is Donald Reginald Thompson, DOB 24/09/1926. His enlist date is 21st February 1946. Interestingly the portrait picture shows Sgt Thompson wearing a Canadian made uniform, which came with his personal items. I have decided to sell his uniform separately. The blouse and trouser are both dated 1945 and can be viewed under the WW2 Canadian category item numbers 67754 and 67753.
