British Light Weight gas mask & Contents

This is an extremely good example of a light weight gas mask, which is dated 30th October 1944 and comes with a number of accessories. 1944 dated dust goggles, a tin of No5 anti-gas ointment which contains two tubes. The ointment tin is dated 1st January 1944. A field dressing which is dated 1940. A tin of anti-lens dimmer. The haversack is dated September 1943. The light weight gas mask was introduced in September 1943 and was issued to all troops taken part in Operation Overlord.
