West German P1 Pistol ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. The P1 is the post-war version of wartime P38. The main difference between the P1 and P38 is the frame is made of a lightweight alloy and the side grip extends past the safey catch and black plastic grips. In fact early post-war examples retained the P38 designation however when officially excepted into the Bundeswehr the pistol was designated the P1 and continued to be used by the West Germany and Austria to the early 1990's. All post-war P38/P1 pistols where solely produced by Walther. This example is dated November 1982 ( 11/82 ) and stamped 'BW" for BundesWehr. The barrel locking lug has been removed during the deactivation process. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purhcase.
