Russian/Soviet High Attitude Pilots Survival Suit

This is a 1954 dated Soviet era high attitude pilots survival suit which was was worn in case the aircrew cashed landed in the ocean. It is very similar to the suits worn by Soviet cosmonauts. It is in very good condition however the internal rubber for the neck has started to perish. The gloves are still present and are also dated 1954. All the zippers are in good working order. A very unique piece of Soviet aviation history. It is size stamped 48.
