U.S. M3 Fighting Knife & M6 Scabbard

A M3 fighting knife was introduced in 1943 and influenced U.S. bayonet design for 40 years resulting in the M4, M5 , M6 and M7 bayonets. This example is marked with the U.S. ordnance stamp on the top of the pommel in the form of a flaming bomb. The M6 scabbard, i believe to be post-war manufactured possibly 1950's.
