U.S. Training MKII Fragmentation Grenade & Container

This is the training example of the MKII fragmentation grenade, more commonly referred to as the 'Pineapple Grenade", due to its resemblance to the said fruit. The training grenades where painted blue to identify them as training aids. This example has a standard MKII body with the M204 fuse, which was introduced at the end of 1944 and only saw very limited use during WW2. There was another version of the MKII training grenade known as the M21 Grenade, which had a hole in its base and was only manufactured for training. This example comes with its cardboard container.
