U.S. Inert MK3A2 Offensive Grenade & Container

This is a inert MK3A2 offensive grenade, which the first MK3's where introduced in 1918 and continued to be used to the mid 1970's There where three types of MK3 grenades. MK3, WW1, MK3A1, WW2 and Korea and the MK3A2 Vietnam. Pre-1945 examples would have the Roman numeral designation MKIII, where post-war are numbered 3. This example is dated August 1974 and comes with a WW2 era M10A3 fuse which give a 4.5 to 5.3 second delay before exploding. The grenade comes with its original container which is dated June 1974.
