Twin Medal Group & AB64 Pay Book

A twin medal group consisting of the 1939-45 and Italian Stars. Belonging to a Frederick Leslie Pilcher who was in the Royal Engineers. However i believe the Frederick was awarded more medals. The African and France and Germany Stars, defence and war medals, which the family have no ideal what happened to them.
Frederick served in the 8th Army in North Africa and Italy. He then landed at Gold Beach in operation overlord and saw service in Holland. He served as a driver and despatch rider his army motor-cycle book is included with his AB64 pay book in the listing. Also included is certificate of transfer to the army reserve dated 13th June 1946. Record of service card which gives his enlisted date 18th January 1940 to the 12th June 1946. Drivers permit, National insurance certificate, National service registration certificate for enlistment, Class A release papers and his demobilization help to get a job certificate. Also included are some photographs of Fred's time in Egypt.
