RAF Khaki Drill Tunic

This is a RAF Khaki Drill ( KD ) tunic which would have been worn in North Africa and the Mediterranean theatre of operations. This example is in excellent condition retaining the tropical pattern RAF eagle badge on both sleeves and waist belt. The tunic is actually post-war but identical the the pattern worn during WW2. The contract label is still attached which gives the size 15, however the actual date has been cut from the label. The tunic is stamped with the War Department year letter code 'F" for 1958. It worn originally have guilted queen crown buttons. However this example has been given pre-1952 king's crown buttons for WW2. Still ideal for display piece or WW2 living History re-enactment.
