British MK1 Dove Tail Bren Gun

This is the rarer MK1 Dove tail Bren gun. The dove tail refers to the optical sight bracket on the left side of the receiver which was discontinued after 1941. This example is dated 1939 and stamped with the King's crown. From 1940 MK1 Brens no longer where stamped with the King's crown. This example is deactivated to the current EU/UK specification. It does not cock or dry fire. However the cocking handle and trigger to move. U.K. Sales Only
