German S-Mine/Stick Grenade Bakelite Fuse Container

A bakelite fuse container which where used to carry various types of ordnance fuses, the most common being the stick grenade and S-mine fuses. The only difference between the fuse containers is the label used to identify the type of fuse. The fuse container did come in different materials, metal, cardboard and the rarest bakelite. The fuse container was designed to fit in a special compartment on the M1924 stick grenade which which would always carrying to fuse containers. This example is missing its outside label, but retains its inside label which identifies the fuse type as a S-Mine fuse. It is dated 13th December 1939 and has two letter R's facing opposite each other which identifies the maker as Richard Rinker.
