French Berthier Mle1907 Colonial Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )
For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. This is the rarer Berither Mle1907 colonial rifle, which was first introduced and issued to colonial troops in 1907. However with the advent of WW1 it was soon realised by the French army that the Berither Mle1907 was far superior to the Label pattern and a slightly modified version was introduced and issued to front line troops in 1915. The modified versions which were designated as the Mle1907/15 only had minor differences. Mainly to the sights and action. This example is in excellent condition, matching numbers except for the bolt, maker marked Chatellerault and dated 1915. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification. Please email before making purchase.
