It remained in service to he early 1990's and was the main personal weapon to Abram tank crews during the first Golf War. This example is was produced by Guide Lamp which was a division of General Motors. It was refurbished in the late 1940's by Rock Island Armoury ( RIA ) and stamped E.B. which was the initials of the Rock Island Armoury foreman Elmer Bjerke. It has a full working action.
