Royal Artillery MKII Helmet

This is a camouflaged MKII helmet which has a Royal Artillery unit flash under the camouflage paint scheme. The paint scheme could be North Africa or Italy and has a ruff textured finish. The shell is dated 1939, with a 1939 dated liner which is size stamped 7. The liner is maker marked JCS&W.LTD for J.Crompton Sons & Webb, who produced liners from 1938 to 1943. A very nice untouched British army helmet, which would enhance any collection.
