This is a Smith & Wesson .38 service revolver supplied to the United Kingdom as part of the Lend Lease agreement between the U.S. and British governments. The pistol acquired the nick name 'Victory revolver" due to the letter 'V" prefix before the serial number which is only found and examples supplied to Britain. The barrel is marked with various patent dates. The frame has the Smith & Wesson logo and is stamped 'U.S. Property". For Non EU Sales Only.
