U.S. Army M1940 Service Tunic

M1940 service tunic which has the sleeve insignia of the 20th Army Corps and the European Theatre of Operations ( ETO ) advanced base. The collar insignia of the medical department and the rank is of a Private First Class ( PFC ). The tunic retains its contract label which gives the maker name "Simon Ackerman Clothes Inc", the size 42R, the pattern date 7th February 1940 and the actual manufacturing date 10th July 1942.
