U.S. ERDL Camouflage Jacket

The ERDL camouflage uniform was developed by the Engineer, Research, Development Laboratory Department and was first issued in 1968 to pathfinder and reconnaissance units. However in 1969 it was selected issue to frontline infantry companies. This example is unissued and retains its size and contract labels. The size label is "Small-Regular" and the contract label gives the makers name 'Elder MFG.Co" and date of manufacture 1970 ( 70-C ).
