British Lee-Engfield No1 Rifle. ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )
For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. A Lee-Enfield No1 rifle more commonly known as the Long-Lee. The long-Lee is basically a Lee-Metford, which was introduced in 1888 the only difference being the barrels internally. It was found that the Lee-Metford barrels tended to wear out very quickly and had a different rifling system. which lend to the majority of Lee-Metfords having their barrels replaced with Enfield made barrels. Phyiscally Lee-Metford and Lee-Enfields looked the same. This example is Enfield made dated 1896 and unconverted, making this extremely rare as the majority of the Lee-Enfields where converted to charging Loading and would be stamped CLL and the date of the conversion. This example also has its forsight protector, which tends to always be missing. For Non EU Sales Only. However can be re-deactivated to the current EU specification.
