British No1 MKIII SMLE Rifle ( Pre-EU/UK Deactivation )

For sale to customers outside the European Union Only. A nice example of a No1 MKIII Short Magazine Lee-Enfield ( SMLE ), which is maker marked BSA for Birmingham Small Arms. This example is not dated indicating it is a commercial item, especially that this example has Enfield made stock. However it has early features a round cocking piece and a magazine cut-off which was discontinued in 1916. However the magazine cut-off was re-introduced on BSA made rifles after WW1. The No3 SMLE remained the standard service rifle within the British army to 1941 when it was officially replaced with the No4 rifle. For Non EU Sales Only.
