German S84/98 Cavalry Bayonet Frog

A cavalry bayonet frog which differs from the standard bayonet frog by having a pommel retaining strap. A order (HV 39C. No.119 ) dated 25th January 1939 stated the the cavalry frog could be issued to all troops. This example is in good condition retaining a visible makers stamp and dated 1942.
