British MKV Gas Mask & Contents

A very good example of short hose MKV gas mask which was introduced in 1939. This example is dated 1941 and comes with a 1941 dated haversack maker marked 'Whiteleys". It also comes with packet of 1941 dated anti-gas eye shields which was commonly used as anti-dust or sand shields by troops serving in North Africa. The gas mask also has its sealed lens dimmer and a full tin of No2 anti-gas ointment. The rounded molded area on the left check is to allow a mircophone to be attached.
